Those ADR's look fab, I wish our kid's were well behaved enough and not as picky to book those restaurants I just know we'd be that family everyone tuts at and wonders why they're there because the kid's are like feral animals

So glad you managed to get Cali Grill eventually. I seen a FB post about not being able to get ADR's for 4th July so you weren't the only one I don't think. Can't believe it's already been ADR day for you! Madness Looking forward to the rest of the plans x

They really are famous last words aren't they

I think my ADR's are about the only thing I didn't make many changes to last time. I will maybe add a couple of Disney ADR's for when we off site (which I need to start putting some thought into!) but I really don't think I'll be changing any that I have booked... We'll see how that goes

Haha. I think my choices have been clouded by our experience at The Yachtsman last time where Emma was an angel and Benjamin... slept thought the whole meal Will they all be a success? I very much doubt it. I hope I won't be dragging them out of restaurants for misbehaving... only time will tell. Anyone who would like to tut in my direction may just live to regret it My two are still horrifically picky. At this minute in time it is likely they will eat nothing and I'll be getting them something afterwards from elsewhere. The whole holiday is planned around the kids so my reason for the DxDDP is so we can try some restaurants we want to try without them missing out on the character meals they love. I remember a discussion on here about whether children should be taken to signature restaurants and my views were unpopular with some
My trip report will reveal all as to whether it goes well or I live to regret my choices!

I did think I would struggle with CG for July 4th so I wasn't surprised. I am happy we have got in Narcoosees for that night. I was initially going to putting in reservations requests with Touring Plans etc but I'm happy enough with how they have worked out now.

Now comes what I thought was the longest part of the wait... ADR day to FP day... it seems forever.

Haha I'm sure they'll be angels again ... don't think mine have ever been or ever will be angels

As long as your happy I'd leave it. I can't wait to see how you get on with the dining plan!

This is definitely the worst wait ... I feel like ours has dragged, but then again we can start booking FP's shortly ... best get my list finalised as I'm back to Uni this week. How is Chloe doing with her A-Levels, I bet she can't wait to finish? Xx

Trust me it doesn't happen often with ours either!
I can't even begin to get my head round ADR's yet. i can't even find the motivation to plan our days once we go off site which i really need to do soon in order to slot in any extra ADR's.

She's doing Ok, thank you. She has found it tough going so will certainly be happy for it to all be over. I was sweating a little bit on her exam dates when I booked this holiday but whilst her exam dates haven't been set her prom has been announced as the day we fly out so all looks good. She's said she is quite happy to swap her prom for nearly a month in Florida especially now Sam is coming out for most of it.

Just start with a list of places you'd like to visit and go from there ... don't forget to sign up before you go (and whilst your there) to get coupons it'll certainly help the purse strings. A few off the top of my head are Perkins and Denny's 20% off. Outback free Bloomin' Onion, Longhorns free App Steak N Shake kids eat free at weekends ... I'll stop now

Oh bless her, the final push is so much harder but it'll be worth it in the end.

Oh I bet! That was close, well done you I'm sure most would rather be in Florida for a month than prom too ... I'm still a little jealous haha.

The boys both miss their SATs with our trip but the secondary school for Thomas has already said they don't take SAT's results anyway they assess the kid's in their first 6 weeks in lessons (without them realising) then put them into groups. And Noah ... to me a 6 year old shouldn't be doing an exam in the first place I'm waiting for a kick off from the head but tbh she'll be told where to go Obviously A-Levels and GCSE's are much more important and I'd never make them miss those but to me primary school testing is wrong on so many levels. Caitlin threw up before her SATs as she was so chewed up about them. Sorry went off on a bit of a rant there xx

Thank you for that. I will DEFINITELY be picking your brains nearer the time re coupons for restaurants. Last time we didn’t use a single coupon on the whole trip! With 21 nights of site and there being 6 of us I will definitely be looking to get a tighter grip on the food spends!
You are preaching to the converted re schools. We are taking Emma out for the last 2 and a half weeks of term this time. I have to admit we never really have it a thought when we booked it as she was way off starting full time... or it felt like it. I’ve heard our local school doesn’t fine in reception but we’ll see. As they get older I suppose I will have to conform but I really don’t see it as an issue until secondary school at the earliest 😂 also, it would be impossible for sally and I to get more than two weeks off in the summer holidays so the school loses by default 😀

Thank you very much. The excitement is starting to build in our house now... except for Emma who loses interest every time we say we are not going tomorrow 😂
