Is there anyway of booking these fares on a package, so you just have to pay deposit? My insurance won’t cover anything booked to USA at the moment, so I don’t want to risk losing the lot.

Personally I think airlines will be begging you to fly soon. No need to rush in and certainly no need to pay everything upfront without a deposit option.

I'm not sure you're going to see much cheaper than c£300 for direct London -> Orlando with Virgin (with secret seats and bags included) entirely contained within the Summer holidays.

We've just had refunds for our now-aborted October half-term flights, so I'm happy to just roll the cash into these cheapies for the Summer.

Are you getting bags included for approx £300? Thought that was “light” fares?

I've not booked just yet, but others have reported these fares include seats and bags.

I've just clicked through from Kayak to LastMinute.com on some dates for August and it states Economy Classic which seems to be consistent with what those who have booked have already found.

Just booked with lastminute £1800 for 5 adults flying from Manchester 23rd Aug for 2 weeks. I also went through topcashback which is giving 2% cashback on flight bookings. Flights are showing on both Virgin and AirFrance's websites and on Virgin it clearly says Classic rather than Light. I've just selected our seats with no extra charge. Didn't think we'd be able to afford to go back again but at these prices couldn't resist!

Some of these prices are amazing. £360pp from Manchester to Mco! They are £1,000pp on virgins own site. Can’t believe the difference!

The dates and flight cost for us on Virgin is coming up at £7,450! - we paid £2080 and may have to pay baggage one way which is going to be £180 - I would say that's a brilliant saving!

Soooo tempting. I’m going to wait and see what Disney might be offering tomorrow before I decide though. Definitely thinking seriously about staying at Universal next trip if there are limited perks at Disney 😊

Have previously booked the airfrance/virgin cheapie flights and yes it does transfer across from air france to virgin at economy classic however you still have to pay for checked luggage. It was commented that it was a well known glitch by the check in lady and they had all been informed that air france passengers had to pay.

Having said that was more than happy to pay £45 for a suitcase when I'd paid £900 for 4 direct flights but just be prepared you will have to pay £45 per bag per flight.
