Dubarry Boots.

Does anyone have them, are they worth the expense and how do they fit, do you go up, down etc...

Also as I am looking for a really nice pair of boots, any other options. I have a large foot too. xx

I have the Glanmire I think thats the style absolutely love them for walking the dogs or in the winter when it’s slushy etc
Keep your feet toasty warm and dry I’ve got size 3 feet and wear a size 3 plenty room for thick socks and boot cuffs
I have thick calf’s and they fit fine had my first pair nearly 10 years and got this pair a couple of years ago I still wear the original pair at the allotment though
Hunt round for a coupon I got £50 off mine with a coupon

I know people who have had them years, even wade through water in them. Look after them well and they will be worth every penny.
I would buy a pair but I have to use an AFO which would mean cutting a hole in one.
I love my Dubarry coat though.

Depends what you use them for and which style you are after?

I’ve got/had Galway boots and some boat shoes

I used my Galway boots for horses etc and wouldn’t buy another pair now I don’t think!

But I love my boat shoes! 😄

I have a pair, I’d coveted them for a few years before buying them, which confirmed that I did really want them. I bought my usually size but went for the ‘slim’ fit as I’ve got silly thin calves (wish the same could be said for the rest of my legs!). If I was to buy them again I’d go for regular fit though as they’re difficult to get off when I’ve got thick socks on too! I haven’t worn them for a while, but generally only do so when watching my boy play football in the pouring rain

I have these ones:

those are the ones and the darker ones I am looking at but at £379, I wonder if they are a good investment. I am tempted though. x

I can definitely recommend Dubarry boots, I’ve had mine for years, I’ve got a pair of Galway which I use with the horses and for dog walking and a pair of Clare for general wear, I live in mine, they are totally waterproof and run true to size. You won’t regret getting them!
