Mobile Which would you rather do?

As our holiday is getting closer I'm thinking about extra experiences. So I was wondering, with disney, would you rather do a meet and greet with a meal, a desert party and get a great place for the fireworks, or early morning magic at toy storyland?
🤔

I'd do a character meal , if it was a choice of one.
Far greater interaction and photo ops.
The only exception would be if I was going after the opening in August I might go for TS land just because the Studios are going to be rammed but otherwise you can't beat a good character meal experience.

If it was my first visit I would do a character meal, for the experience of meeting characters without having to spend time queuing in the park.

We’ve done several character meals, did the happily ever after desert party last year (wouldn’t do it again) so I would pick early morning magic at TSL so that I could use my fast passes elsewhere that day!

Don't forget the Early Morning Magic is also available within Magic Kingdom.

I wanted something special this time, so booked this in MK - as cannot begin to imagine the feeling of walking down a near empty Main Street and able to get photo's of the castle without anybody else in your snaps.

For me, it's not able the rides, it's about the experience of being in a near empty park for 75 minutes without a care in the world :-)

We love character meals, but I would choose the Early Morning Magic in Toy Story Land. I think it will be better value for money than your other two choices.

We have done a character breakfast at Grand Floridian twice, the kids loved it and the food was good too!

In our personal circumstances now I would opt for the dessert party & a decent view of the fireworks away from the crowds. But that’s only because DH struggled to stand and wait for the fireworks at MK and DD11 fell asleep before the fireworks started at Epcot, so we didn’t see Illuminations at all!

When the kids were younger (and we were fitter) I’d have voted for a character meal.

Definitely a dessert party. We are hoping to do the Star Wars one at DHS in July - but they haven't released the dates yet.
We have also booked a character breakfast - Bon Voyage on the Boardwalk with Rapunzel and Flynn, Ariel and Eric - but I'm not sure if the kids are a bit old for characters. If I had to choose I'd drop the character meal.
I would not pay to get up early on holiday - though I know we may wake up too early anyway - I'd rather have a good breakfast than EMM, but that's just me and my lot.

Lots of valid points - still don't know haha! Dd1 will be 13 and dd2 will be 6. Both are so looking forward to toy story land but I know it's still incredibly busy - but star wars opening could ease the load slightly (that's what I'm hoping for anyway! )
I talk myself into and out of so many things! 🤣
