Best budget tips for food/meals

Busy planning a trip for next Feb and starting to think about the budget for food. We're on a tight budget for the trip so would love to hear your tips on how to save money. We're planning on staying at a hotel near Disney for 4 nights and then 10 nights at Cabana Bay.

Does anyone have any suggestions for cheap restaurants for our evening meal and tips for how to do breakfast and lunch cheap when in Disney or Universal?

We used a Landry card last time, and will do this again for a meal at Disney Springs and Bubba Gump for our 'birthday' treat!

TIA,

Jules

Take a look at Dixonsontour trip reports. Stephanie has done a few reports with $100 budget per day which have been so helpful. Another tip is to sign up to all the restaurants you plan to visit before you go and most will send you a voucher for a free apptiser, 20% off, free kids meals or much more xx

Perkins on I-Drive. Great food, reasonable prices and you get a 20% off voucher if you sign up to their loyalty club.
