Mobile Manchester airport hotel

We need to book a hotel the night before our flight at Manchester airport. There’s 4 adults and 2 kids. Will be travelling in by train so need to be close to airport. Can anyone recommend the best hotel for us please.
Thanks Jacquie xx

Premier Inn are usually the cheapest and really good value, breakfast is good too. There is the North and South, and also 1 at Heald Green, which gives you the opportunity of using the train instead of a taxi. I've also used the Holiday Inn Express which was good too, with a free breakfast included. Radisson Blu is on the airport so no messing with transfers, but will be a lot more costly.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu - as above it’s more costly but it’s so convenient. You walk out of the hotel and straight into the airport.

Radisson Blu connects to the train station at T1. Its at T2. So that’s the most convenient. It’s not the cheapest. Join their club for the better prices and if you can pay full in advance for a bigger saving. Will still be a lot more than Premier Inn though. There’s also a Marriott and the Clayton close by. Clayton has good prices for family rooms.

Another vote for Radisson Blu expensive but so well placed you don't have to mess around with shuttles or taxi

Last time I was in Manchester Airport (2 years ago) I took a photo of the shuttle board just outside the airport
Clayton,Crowne Plza, Etrop Grange and Hilton Provided free shuttles
the 3 Brintaina, 2 Holiday Inns, Marriot, Raddison Blu (however you can walk it) and the 2 Premier Inns all provided shuttles but they charge a fee

I’ve just stayed at The Raddison Blu. Agreed, great location but avoid a Business Class room as it is absolute extortion and the food is poor in the lounge what you get access to!

This year I'm going back to the Hilton, it has a huge room that the 5 of us can fit in so saves on paying for 2 rooms, breakfast is phenomenal and they have a free bus to the terminals
