Mobile Just wanted to say...

How helpful I’ve found most of the companies I’ve had to deal with over the last couple of days when cancelling or rearranging things. OAT were great with transferring my discovery cove tickets to next year. APH have been great at cancelling my airport car parking and re-booking a different airport and different date at no extra cost and didn’t charge me a cancellation fee and Andy at DFCH was amazing at sorting me a refund on our car hire straight away!
It has made what has been a really stressful few days so much easier! We have now managed to book an AI week in benidorm next week (it was literally all we could afford when the prices skyrocketed overnight)... not quite Florida but a break all the same!

Feel your pain...we have lost our first 2 days so San Francisco gone ... now going straight to Vegas
£1279 direct premium thomascook.
Ended up having to pay £1900 indirect American economy...

Southwest Airlines won’t refund our San Fran to Vegas flights so another £160 lost...

Oh no I remember reading some of your posts over the weekend and feeling so sorry for your situation! I’ve been stressed the last couple of days so cannot begin to imagine how you must be feeling, this whole situation has been awful. I’m honestly shocked at how travel companies and airlines seemed to have been cashing in on what’s happened

How did you manage this with APH, Princess? They have refused to do this for us. We've had to change from Manchester to Gatwick and change our dates by a couple of days. The only option for us is to cancel and re-book and, of course, prices have gone up quite a bit since we booked back in April.

Most companies have been great only one I’ve had issues with is the transfer company who have said they will charge a fee if we don’t give 36 hours notice of our flight change, not the end of the world but as you said most other companies have been great!

They let me cancel with no charge and re-book for Bristol with my original discount...worked out £20 more anyway but I was okay with that

I don’t know whether to try my luck with PI?! Has anyone tried them yet? I know they usually don’t budge at all but I’m thinking under the circumstances it may worth giving it a go lol 😂

PI did nothing when our holiday was cancelled because of Ba strikes, didn’t care less!
I second APH, transferred ours for free despite it not being cancellable booking, they have always been helpful and my go to guys

Do You mean Premier Inn? If so I spoke with them this morning as I had a non flex booking and I was advised to email guest.comments@premierinn.com and explain the reason for my cancellation.
If I do get my money back or a voucher towards another booking then that's great as I wasn't expecting anything.
