Porto or Dubrovnik in October

I was going to move our Easyjet flights to Porto from April to October , I've just checked and they are cancelled anyway.
I really want to go back to Porto and DH has never been, but now I'm thinking Dubrovnik might be a safer bet, although I know nothing is guaranteed. It's been on our list for ages and we've not been yet. Maybe I should save Porto until spring 2021

We did Dubrovnik October 2019.
We had an amazing thunder storm the first night but the weather was lovely the rest of our stay. It�s an amazing place with lots to see and do and a good transport system.
