Unusual question about Hagrid ride

I have been lucky enough to ride this three times, sitting in different places each time, but not significantly different.

The last time we rode was definitely slower. It was morning time and they were at full capacity and it felt like a different ride.

Am I imagining this or has anyone else had this experience?

It does feel different depending where you sit, the weather, heat of the track possibly. Combined weight?

All rollercoasters take a while to get warmed up a ride in the afternoon will definitely be faster than a ride first thing on a morning - the weather can also be a factor too.
