Coronado Springs best area

Had a look back and I think the consensus was that Cabanas block 8A was the best area to stay, but feel free to correct me!
What’s the best way to request those? Travel agent or Disney direct.

No advice, but the new walkways over the lake have immediately made this large resort alot more intimate and easier to navigate.

We stopped in Ranchos 7A last year and loved it - it's so quiet and peaceful - but is a bit far away from everything but the new bridges may have changed that.

Quiet a lot of people like Casitas 4 and 5 due to its location to the main food court, and also the new bridge means the Dig Site pool will be so much more accessible.

Cabanas will now be so close to he new Destino Tower/Main Lobby and the pool.

I'm very tempted to try Casitas or Cabanas next time just to try something new, especially with the bridges making everything so much easier

In terms of requesting - just do a free online fax. Theres a Facebook page called Coronado Springs Buzz which has all of the contact details in too.

You can fax your request direct to the resort - 9 days in advance seems to be the magic number of days.
The number is 1-407-939-3996. You can use gotfreefax.com to do it online.
We're thinking of requesting Ranchos or Cabanas 8A or 8B. We would prefer to be closer to the Dig Site rather than the El Centro. As mentioned though, with the new bridges open, it seems to have given all areas easier access to El Centro.

Is there a new map with the new bridges? Thanks joshie, can’t believe Disney still use fax machines!

We stayed in Ranchos 6B was good position for the bus stop really close to the quiet pool which never really had many people there when I went for a swim all of the Ranchos area was quiet . The second week the bridges opened it was nice to sit in the shade along the bridge it cut the walk in half to the food court and shop. The grounds are lovely been back nearly 2 weeks now.

Been twice & had Cabanas 8A both times. Great for pool, bus & 5 mins max to El Centro.

Quite liked not overlooking a car park or other rooms, ideal for us.

We've just stayed in casitas 5 and it was a great location now the bridges are open, couple minutes walk to the quick service and to the pool and also quiet near to the bus stop which is one of the first ones

This is the area we were looking at possibly requesting, how many floors in the building are there? My parents will be with us, they're not immobile but a location close to the bus stop and a pool would be ideal for them!
