Using a Revolut card

What is the best way to use a revolut card. Is it better to convert all of your Ł to $ before travelling or to move money as you need it to avoid having to change it back?

I just converted 100-150 pounds multiple times when I was there. That way I kept an eye on spending, of something did happen and the card got cloned I would not lose that much money and also i did not have a large amount of dollars left over either as I only loaded small amounts as needed.

It doesn't matter, the only advantage of transferring the money is to 'lock in the rate'
If you have stirling on there, and make a transaction (in the USA) it will convert at the current exchange rate from your stirling balance.

Do not worry about not using all money converted to dollars, you can convert it back to UKP at the current interbank rate so no nasty buy back rates you get at banks etc
