Personally, I have no problem with paying Disney to visit their parks. For me, the cost is worth it. It doesn't matter where I choose to go on holiday most of that money will go to one or more "greedy" companies and, in turn, will make their shareholders richer. So I choose to visit somewhere that I enjoy visiting and that I want to continue to enjoy in the future. I'm against those who complain about how greedy one company is whilst deciding to visit another company instead.
Not complaining specifically against Disney and I too choose where to spend my money based on what we as a family enjoy 😊 It would be refreshing to hear big company bosses taking a cut in their pay to make gate prices cheaper but I’m not so naive as to believe that will ever happen. Ultimately we all have a choice and I’d never turn my back on Disney 😊

Yes, it would be refreshing if the big bosses took a pay cut in order to make ticket prices less.

Around 50 million people visit WDW each year. Therefore, in order to reduce ticket prices by just $1 those big bosses would have to cut their pay by $50 million. I don't know how much they all get paid (in 2016 Bob Iger was paid just under $44 million) but we all know they're not going to reduce their pay that much. And, let's face it, even if the ticket prices reduced by a couple of dollars it wouldn't make any difference and people would still call them greedy.

I never knew it was that many, learn something new every day. No wonder they're making such big profits.

Interesting and you make a valid point. They’ll be able to afford to pay a few more that salary with the increased parking charge now 😂😂

i disagree with the anti-capitalist argument on this thread tbh, no one forces anyone to part with their hard earned for tickets, parking or anything else, at Disney or elsewhere. You make your choices based on your budget, your preferences and your priorities. They sell a product at the price they choose, you decide if there’s enough value in it to justify buying it.

Bosses taking pay cuts so you pay less for tickets? Funniest thing I’ve heard in ages.

The only way to reduce crowd levels, is to keep putting the price up - it’s only when most people can’t afford it, that the crowd level will tail off

Yep- as I said- not so naive as to think that could ever happen. We can dream. I do agree with your point. We all make our own choices on what to spend our money on.
