I hate the VA website! Rant, sorry.
I am trying to look at flights from MCO to MAN (single, not return) for next October following a cruise that we would like to take. It is coming up as $2900+ for two of us! How much? I want to use miles if possible but it seems there aren't any miles seats left and so I wanted to look at miles plus money. The website wasn't having it. It wanted me to put in my VA number again although I was already logged in. Grrrrrrrr:angry:
I think I might just try telephoning them tomorrow or may be try to do an online chat. |

Jan. Best of luck if you can get online chat. I think they only have 1 person doing that process and they only work 1 hour a month!
Hardly ever comes on now albeit they told me it's still a function they use. Wow! Expensive flight but there again one way tickets are very expensive.

I checked my flights last week and it was coming up with a ridiculous price. Checked again a few days later and they were the cheapest I'd seen them

Unfortunately that sounds about right for a single.
You have to pay the the fully flexible fare for a single. The only airlines that allow you to do singles at a semi sensible price are norwegian and Iceland air (sometimes) |

We gave up and booked Thomas cook for our return for less than £400 premium. Flying out uc using miles so had to book them as soon as they were out. Never flown anything other than virgin so will see how it goes!

Tell me about it!
Ive been looking at their website for the last few months & its an absolute pain to negotiate. I found good prices on Sunday but got so annoyed with trying to log into flying club I gave up. Said to DH its a shame as I like VS but their website designer needs a right talking to. |

One way flights with Virgin are really expensive. Have a look at Icelandair (we used them return from WBTA) and Thomas Cook.

I used to use them all the time but their website is just one of the things I think let them down nowadays. I'm amazed they actually get any business still and reckon it's a matter of time before delta buy up the rest of them and make massive changes.
