Package holiday help :)
Hello,
So we have a week booked on site in August. As our financial situation has greatly improvement, we wanted to extend our holiday. But due to room availability or package holiday availability it doesn't seem to be working out. So we were thinking of going to NYC for a few days after the holiday (found a flight to NYC from orlando and then back to London after 4 nights for £365pp on skyscanner). My question is... what would Thomas Cook about us not turning up for our return flight back home? Can they do anything? Charge us or whatever? Only other option if they would, is to come back and then 2-3 days later go back to NYC as norweigan are showing return flights from Gatwick at around the same price? Any advice? |

Can you not change resort? Or will TC not do a split stay with a week offsite after your Disney holiday. Possibly universal?

I've asked they said they have to book it as a package in the same resort and the only availability at my resort (AoA) is the family suites so was quotes a ridiculous amount of money to extend the stay!

Could you not change to CBR or Port Orleans?

You are still quite far out, have you priced it up seperately then deducted the deposit you would lose? We once saved £1200 DIY and that was after losing an £850 deposit. You would of course lose free dining but there's lots of great places to eat in Orlando.
