Universal Studios - how long

How many days on average do people spend at Universal? I'm trying to put together an itinerary together and wondered how long it takes to get around.

Thank you

We usually do 2 days at Universal (and Islands of Adventure, Magic Kingdom and Epcot) We find we need that in order to do everything we want, and maybe experience some of our favourites again on day 2. There is a lot to do and see so if you only go once you will need the full day.

I usually do one day in universal studios, 1 day in islands of adventure and 1 day to go back to both parks and visit what we may have missed or want to re ride etc.

3 seems to be a fairly popular number of days. You will be there in August so it will still be busy. A lot depends on who is going, what type of rides you all enjoy, whether you are big HP fans etc. and of course, how many other parks you plan to visit during your stay.

We do this too but last time stayed at Hard Rock hotel for 3 nights and had FOLP too. I could spend a full day in WWOHP.

Thank you everyone. I think we are going to go for 3 days with the rest of the fortnight being spent at MK, a shopping day or two and the water parks. You don't realise how little time you have until you see it all down on paper trying to fit in Fastpasses/ADRs- no wonder people go for 3 weeks or more!

Would agree with this post in terms of timing at the two parks

I full day Universal and IOA and then a 3rd day to do both via Hogwarts Express. Might even go back to Universal for a 4th day.

We spent three days, but we were there for three weeks, 14 days would be a real squeeze these days.

1 day in each of the universal parks, then a third day covering both but we used the Harry potter train on the third day to move between the two parks.
