Upgrading a 21 day UK ticket to an annual pass

Can anyone help we have brought a 21 day ticket from WDW holidays UK site and wondered what the cost would be to upgrade one to an annual pass when we go in November. We don't have a car just looking for the discounts on merchandise and food not worrried about water parks either. Thanks in advance. We go October 30 for three weeks

Those who have upgraded might give you the prices they paid

but be advised that this price can vary considerably depending on where you ask.

you will pay whatever price difference between the value of your ticket, and the price of the AP you're upgrading to

the big question is how much value the cast member will give you for your 21 days pass.

to make it simple, you'll only know when you're there. If you think the price is fair, upgrade. If not, try at another park.

We paid $12 for our 21 day upgrade. She first said over $100 and I said others had paid much less. She messed about with the computer then said “Oh I see how it’s done now” and charged us 12 each! This was at Disney springs and we had used mini golf 9 times too! Very happy so we’re having an extra trip in March.

Wow. That's an absolute bargain.

A 21 day 2017 Disney ticket costs £400. Which is about $530.

Without tax, the Platinum Pass costs $779 and the Platinum Plus Pass costs $869.

Therefore, I'd expect an upgrade to cost at least $249 (+tax) per ticket.

I think the poster who paid $12 is a dvc member, therefore the upgrade cost is right, given they used a 21 day ticket-the 14 day ticket upgrade was $48.99 so you would expect the 21 day upgrade to be less as it's around ?£30 more than the 14 day ticket to purchase.

Ah, yes. If they are a DVC member then that makes sense.

I'm not sure how useful that is for the OP though. Are they a DVC member?

Probably not that useful sorry!-i would think the upgrade cost would be $275+ for the cheapest annual pass from a 21 day ticket. The platinum pass is $829 outright so I think a 21 day pass would be around the $500 Mark in terms of money towards the pass

We upgraded our 21 day ultimate tickets last November and it was $247 dollars including tax. So for this year I would estimate it to be approximately $261.
