Looking to upgrade - how often is too often?
So, we're looking to upgrade our PE outbound flight to upper class. I have contacted Virgin once to check the price about 10 days ago and got a quote that was too steep for us.
How often should I keep checking to see if prices have come down, is there an optimum time for cheap(er) prices? We're not flying until November 2018. Thanks

I think (though am not 100% sure) one of the ways they base their upgrade pricing is on the difference between the ticket you paid for and the one in the class you want to upgrade too.
I'd check VA's website on your date to see current upper costs compared to what you paid for PE and see if it's a difference you're happy to pay. I've been tracking prices on VA quite a lot recently and they do seem to be inflated a lot for Upper at the moment, but worth checking regularly just in case
