Used and unused magic bands

We have at least 6 sets of magic bands from our last two stays, my question is can these be used by a friend that is going in March? Most will of been linked to our details but one set we didn't use as we had stayed at various Disney properties and so just continued using our coloured ones rather than the plain grey. I thought they would be able to take and link to their MDE? But not sure if this is correct or how they would do it?. Thanks

No. Those magic bands, even your unused ones, will all be linked to your account. They aren’t transferable unfortunately.

If you look on your MDE account and go to the Magic Bands section it will tell you which are active. I’ve had three trips since they started MDE and all our previous tickets and MBs show there along with the new ones. You have the option not to order new ones in the same area. I think it actually has a ‘decline’ button from memory.

Thanks for that!.. Yes I have just looked at this section after reading your reply, and I have loads ! .. We also declined some at our last stay, but I can now decline the bands for future trips.
