Under 18 currency card?
Hi all,
Has anyone got their child (under 18) a currency card to use in Florida? We're taking my 16 year-old nephew and he's been working hard and saving his money. It's his first time in America and he wants to shop, shop, shop so I don't want him taking lots of cash. He's just tried to open a Revolut account but it says he has to be over 18. Does anyone know of any companies he can get a card from please, or if there is any way around the over-18 rule (ie. if I take out a card and he use it)? Thank you! |

we have gotten a caxton card for one of my DW children years ago (he was 14 and had no issue getting it), on our last trip, her 16 year old used our old caxton card just to get money out of an ATM (card was in my name) we stopped at WaWa as ATM withdraws were free

I also have an FX account, put my kids on it last year aged 14 and 15, linked to my account, worked really well, and the app shows all the cards with balances and easy money transfer between the cards.

Hi I have got my 3 grandchildren 14,13,10 a Easy FX card which the accounts are in my name as have to be 18, but the cards are in there names and each has there own account number and you can add monies to the account and use anywhere in the world and will automatically change to the countries currency and rate on the day of purchase. This is ideal also as the currency is loaded in GBP as paid, so any monies left upon return are already in GBP to use in UK. Already loading funds onto them for our hol in August, and parents adding to funds monthly for there spends. You can check balance add funds etc at any time.
