Mrs Morrow Is All Upset - Her Baby Is Leaving Home!

Well today we went to see my Sons new house. Up to the stage where the brick outer skin goes on, looking ok.

Probably 2 months before occupation date I suspect.

However my Wife is all upset. Her 28 year old baby is leaving.

No more making him coffee every 30 mins, doing his lunchbox for him, doing all his washing and ironing.

But the good side is no more creeping around and whispering for 8 hours when he is sleeping off nights.

He actually left for 6+ years when he lived and worked in Slough then Windsor but kept coming back on his rest days.

Ahh you spotted it! No more stress lines.

Joking aside I think it's good when they go. They shouldn't live their parents lives and it's one of the best feelings in the world walking into your first house and thinking all this is mine - well it will be when I pay off the mortgage!

Yes it's in Old St Mellons on the East of Cardiff. I'm not sure but he ordered his extras today so it was £236K give or take a few quid.

If he takes after his Sister he will. Every time we go up there I end up with a list that even goes as far as can you bring me a bottle of Lenor, ohh some Plenty kitchen roll would be handy. Talking of paper have you a pack of Andrex loo roll. Ohh nearly forgot, have you any of that nice aluminium foil you get in big rolls from America? Two if you have please.

It never ends.

Helen. As we know it helps them out and like you we don't begrudge it

Mrs Morrow, I feel your pain!(still) Its like a bereavement. My DS moved to Manchester (2years ago) I'm happy he's happy but I still miss him dreadfully.

You never mention a partner for your son. I have a very nice, very presentable 30 yo daughter. I'd pay good money to have someone take her off my hands.
Just a thought
