Really sorry about this!

We're due to go in about 6 wks. But we're flying into Miami and picking up the car there. Booked a Tahoe size SUV(again the codes are so confusing, think it's a FFar? )

I've done the Alamo Savetime (booked through a 3rd party with a credit card) and got a print out with a barcode,

Do I need to do the OLCI as well?

It's so damn confusing, go to the desk, go to the kiosk, so to the garage. Getting a headache just thinking about it all.

I did the save time for my trip 3 weeks ago and went straight to pick up point as suggested to be told they had no idea about this and to go to desk. Fortunately, the person I'd spoken to processed me immediately, so I essentially jumped the queue.
I was however disappointed by the lack of choice in the full size line up - only 4 cars, but whilst I was deliberating an almost new Nissan Altima appeared and I took that.
