Have you checked lately that it's still there. A few regular Dibbers said they'd done theirs as well and it disappeared - along with all their FC miles as well.

Hope yours remained.

Mick

That's good

The number of times I went in last November and entered all the address details etc. thinking it had been saved to go back in and see it gone with a banal message saying "you cannot do this now" or something similar.

Why can't anybody in the Virgin IT department simply set up a default message saying that you can't do API until you do OLCI?

I managed to put our passport numbers in the FC profile but must admit I haven't checked to see if they are still there.

Only need to wait until lunchtime tomorrow week to do it now

Mick

Knowing my luck I'll probably log on 48 hours before and have to do it all again!

Yeah I don't understand why they have made it so confusing for people, they shouldn't allow people to even put it in if it won't save!

The only thing to remember is if you do online checkin on your return journey remember to put in the two names as one Christian names or else you won't be able to locate the booking, this has caused us confusion before.

Have spoken to Virgin this morning and it is correct you do not have to enter middle names. API can be done at online check in or at check in desk. I'm now thinking def not a space to enter middle name on Esta?

I always assumed that if you had middle name in your passport, middle name went everywhere so that everything matched eg passport/esta/api etc

Middle names are neither here nor there, as long as first and second name match. Middle name is "invisible" really.
I don't have it on esta, but its on passport.
