Also have a booking at fort wilderness. Had to book a premium campsite so it was £100 but free parking x 4 (2 cars) and 6 x magic bands makes it a bargain, even without the 60 day FP window.

Would this be the same if I don't use my 14 day pass until 4 days after I've checked out of my 1 night stay? We are staying at a Disney hotel on day 1 of our holiday, then going straight on a Disney cruise, so won't be back at the parks (and staying offsite) until day 4. Will I still be able to get 60 day FPs for the duration of my 14 day ticket?

Forgive me, but how do you book Fort Wilderness? I can find it on the Disney site but when I click 'check availability', Camping is no longer an option.

You have to change your location to USA at the top of the page for the campsite to show up. I did it via this website disneyworld.disney.go changed the location and all worked fine.

I ended up with a one night booking at the start of our holiday as it was cheaper to amend a booking we had than to cancel it when we had to change our plans. We had 2 days parking, 2 days EMH, magic bands and the 60 day FP window. Initially I was disappointed to not get any of the big name FP. However about 40 days before we travelled park hours were extended and extra FP were added so we ended up with almost everything we wanted. I couldn’t get any of them at 30 days out the previous year.

We used magic bands that we already had and collected the new ones at the end of the first day. I had to admit to the cast member checking us in that we weren’t actually staying to stop him charging me for overnight parking! He was a bit 🤔 why we had booked a room we didn’t want but didn’t seem to bothered as long as it was paid for.

Haha! Sorry! I tried really hard not to say anything but I had to tell him because he was going to put parking charges on my account and we weren’t even there!

Yep, should have done that! He asked if I’d used Magical Express, I could have just said yes and I don’t think he would check.
