Park First on Day 1 , Check in After, no Magic Bands?

Hi

We will be arriving in WDW early and want to go to AK and then check in at Wilderness Lodge later on at night, possibly after AK closes.

How do we go about entering the park as we will not get our Magic Bands until Check in.

Do I just use my 14 Day Ultimate tickets to enter the park and then get the Magic Bands later on at Check In

Thanks

As long as you've got physical tickets, you can use them until you collect your magic bands

Or, if you have magic bands from a previous trip still active on your MDE account, you can also use those until you get your new ones

All that's required is for each person in your party to have a physical item with an RFID chip inside it linked to the MDE account that the 'tickets' are listed in.

If you have some (old or new) plastic tickets already you can use those. Or you can use old or new MagicBands.

So, yes, if you already have the physical plastic cards in your hand you can use those. If not, you can get some from the ticket desks outside AK before you go in.

Just a thought? Where will you leave your luggage?
In the car?

I'd recommend linking them at least 60 days before you travel so that you can book your fastpasses.

Hi
Yes you are quite right I need to link them before 60 days.
I have not linked them yet as they are on a free cancellation.
I was caught out 2 years ago when Disney reduced all their ticket prices and I could have saved Hundreds of pounds.
I was waiting just in case it happened again and I could cash in.
I do believe in Miracles

Yes we are renting a full size car so luggage can stay in the boot ( sorry Trunk )
We are heading up from Miami so we may be able to get round to the FWL and leave our luggage there if early enough

Thanks

Can you not check in before going to the park, pick up your magic bands and just leave your bags with bell services until you get back? Might be easier?
