Ok so Lansky were great, on time and right as we exited the airport.
There is a bit of a language barrier (I think the drivers are Korean) so don’t expect a chatty ride but the driver helped with the cases and as promised took us to a supermarket en route. Quite pricey but it’s something I’m glad we booked as we were tired on arrival and it made it stress free |

Used to use SuperShuttle but it’s a faff and the last trip we did took nearly 3 hours (to Hollywood) so we now use Uber. Unless it’s a work trip and they use Carey Limo who are fab.
Uber is very easy from LAX - usually around a 10m wait. Definitely get an XL for luggage. We got a Lincoln Navigator which was amazing for the price ($65 from Hollywood to LAX). Always rent a car the next day though - LA without one is a pain. Although Uber have made it a more viable option to go car less in recent years, I still wouldn’t be without one. Avoid the shuttles as they make numerous stops and divert miles from your final destination. Very tiring and stressful after a long flight. |
