Parcel delivery to Hotel?
We ordered a few bits off Amazon.com to be delivered to the hotel. When we went to check about picking it up, they told us there was a charge as it's classed as business use. $10-25! Dependant on the weight. This was not mentioned when we asked at reception about getting an Amazon delivery. Anyone else had any experience? We're clearly not a business. Just a girl who wanted something with her birthday money unavailable in the UK.
We're in the Rosen Inn at Pointe on International Drive. We've not collected the item yet. It's not arrived. But worrying about the collection fee

I usually have to pay a fee, never more than $5 even if they’ve received 2 or 3 at the same time.

I know it’s standard on Disney property now but the only other place I’ve encountered it is in Vegas as the business centres in the hotel accept and store the parcels, they charge by weight and size too.
Not had it in other hotels in USA though. I do always email first to check whether they’ll accept a parcel (or two ) |

Hmm, floridays where meant to charge i think, but they didnt charge me for my personal parcels i received. Id expect the reception staff wont bother with the fee. Also be sure to call it a package, some americans dont know what a parcel is, i wish id had known this before a lot of arguing and blaming couriers!
