The only place we stopped on the LA - Vegas route was at "Peggy Sue's 50's diner", and we stopped there in both directions.

I remeber we stopped at a gas station outside of Vegas years ago, I can’t remeber if it was enroute to Rachel (51) or to Grand Canyon and we needed to get the key for the restroom and the “key ring” was a life ring from a ship.

You will be ok between LV and LA.

Think we were travelling from San Diego on route to Williams in September and we like to avoid the interstate if we can. Stopped at a small gas station and asked for the restroom and were shown the lone portaloo at the bottom of the car park. Needless to say DH used it but I refused the smell and flies were ridiculous. 😷😷

Ended up going to the next gas station and was handed a key on the end of a large piece of wood with feathers on it! What a relief 🙌

Its not too bad really. As you will see from below there are plenty of towns on the route so just be conscious of these and stop at those if you think you may not last the next leg.

LA outskits (San Bernardino) to Victorville is around 30 minutes
Victorville to Barstow is around 30 minutes
Barstow to Baker is around 1 hour
Baker to Primm is 45 around minutes
Primm to Vegas is 45 around minutes
