If you have your heart set on the Bellagio, set up a Mlife account which is free and you'll become a Sapphire member which will entitle you to a 30% discount on their advertised rates. Just make sure that you are aware of the resort fee plus tax, the parking fee plus tax as these soon rack up.

Hello - I also checked vegas.com last time as they had some good deals but had to pay in $. Did end up buying a package in the end but there was some decent deals on there including resort credit etc at the time I looked which at least helped bring the more expensive nights down! x

we just stayed at the Tahiti village, its on the strip but away from the main bit. The resort runs buses up to Tropicana and the Mirage, we had a lovely 1 bedroom suite

Thanks all. I have registered with MLife and booked the Bellagio for our last 2 nights for $604 including taxes and the ridiculously high resort fee. I’ve also got the Luxury Suites International at the Signature provisionally booked for $692 including tax and resort fees for our first 4 nights but I can see that Park MGM is roughly the same price, which would you choose?

Location wise I would opt for the Park MGM. It's quite nice in there now although some parts are like a building site as the transformation from Monte Carlo to Park MGM continues.

Keep an eye on Mlife for Bellagio prices you have free cancellation so if the price falls nearer your arrival date, cancel and rebook.

Hopefully the prices will come down nearer the time.

We booked the NYNY 5 weeks before our stay. I was hoping to get a “free” 2 night stay with myvegas but only had enough coins for one night. We booked the free night under my name and paid $40ish for taxes and resort fee. Then for the other 3 nights booked using a 30% discount offer under my partner’s name. When checking in they were happy to merge the bookings although our room key had to be re-activated for the last nights’ stay.

In total we paid just under £400 for 4 nights.

Edited at 07:55 PM.

Not really going to help you this time but if you plan on going back use your mlife card every time you pay for things or gamble it will rack up your points and may entitle you to comps. Also keep checking mlife for offers. We head out next weekend and are staying 2 nights at the Mandalay Bay and 4 nights at The Flamingo all for resort fees only!
One of the best myVEGAS rewards other than rooms/tickets is the BOGOF at Nine Fine Irishmen in the NYNY... worth $35
