Disney for 4th July which park
Wondering if it's mad to consider or any advice on which park would be better crowd wise.
Or any other suggestions for the 4th? We did 4th in St Petes a few years ago and it was quiet and boring so looking for something memorable

We were in Florida for 4th July a couple of years ago. Magic Kingdom did the 4th July celebration on the 3rd and 4th to control crowds better so we went on the 3rd. It was heaving! Fantastic, of course, but heaving! In order to leave the park, we were directed around the back of Main Street. Whilst interesting to see, it ruined the magic of the night slightly because we could see the floats covered in sheets etc.

None of them. No fun being in the parks when they are bursting at the seams.

I think if you're there on July 4th,you must see MK fireworks even though it's heaving..they are truly amazing.

The 4th July is day 3 of our trip next year. DH thinks the same, that we should go to MK and embrace the craziness, I am not convinced.
I have a quiet day at the pool and then the possibility of a dinner reservation at one of the MK resort hotels for dinner to view the fireworks from there penciled into our itinerary. A compromise may be to have a quiet morning in the pool or another park and go to MK in the evening and saving fast passes for then so that we get to do at least 3 rides. I am concerned that we may get there and find that the park is full though. Does anybody know whether having a table reserved in MK would mean that we would get in anyway? |

We go at this time every year. We avoid the parks on the 4th - too busy. Instead we go shopping then book dinner at California Grill to watch the fireworks from the balcony.
Remember the July 4th fireworks also happen on the 3rd as well.
