I thought they all got off very lightly in the interviews. It’s usually brutal, but this time they were being complimented for doing so well.

I also agree that the two that got through are the most credible, but their businesses aren’t exactly groundbreaking or exciting

Wasn’t one of last year’s winners in recruitment too.
All through the series it has been bugging me that Carina looks so familiar , I see now she had a business in Croydon around the time I lived and worked in the area so possibly I have come across her.
For me the right two made the final.

I actually think Carina has all the right attributes to work for Sir Alan and the old prize would have benefited her more .

I actually feel quite sorry for Lottie , she was far too immature to compete but she really does have zero empathy for anyone and I can’t blame the BBC for blacklisting her. The Gandhi comment was completely unacceptable and heaven only knows what she said to Thomas that he’s still upset and refuses to say what it was, he’s hardly snowflake material and seemed very kindhearted and not one to bear grudges. However looking at her comments in the press today it doesn’t sound like she has any genuine regret or has learned anything , it’s still all about Lottie. Maybe with time she will reflect and learn, she’s very bright just need all those rough edges sorting.

Recruiters and Bakers have both won before (might even be two recruitment firms?). Either would seem an acceptable winner, maybe they could combine the two somehow

Lewis's business plan was laughably bad and glad Pamela didn't go through either after lying about inventing products that she was importing from Asia.

As per the stories, no Lottie on You're Fired, she's supposedly banned from appearing in anything connected to the show. Thought her idea was unviable, if it had been costed it would have revealed how unrealistic it was IMHO, probably why there were no numbers

Lewis’s business plan had me in stitches as an ex travel person (including tour operating) , working as an 18-30 rep gives you no insight into tour operating. He had the spark of a viable idea that could fly but it got lost from there onwards .

Lottie’s plan was never viable, she was there as a character not as a viable candidate anyway. As a working class boy made good no way would Sir Alan ever have associated his name with such an “elitist” and snobbish business.

Yes I thought exactly that about both of their ideas. Lewis’s was like something he thought up the day before after reminiscing about last year’s lads holiday to Ibiza.

There have been some reporting of her making racist and homophobic comments about other contestants. And I think just generally did not get along with everyone and seriously upset another contestant (Thomas) but he has not said why.

Think out of the final 5 Sugar didn't really have a choice but to choose those 2 as they were the only ones with up and running businesses with real plans!

I wonder if they weren't as brutal this year after everything in the papers etc about the psychological damage these reality shows can have on young people.
Though I do think they were really soft on Lottie and I know she's only 19 but if she can deal it out she should be able to take it too.
