Anyone flying today or tomorrow?
Hiya
We are currently driving from Devon to stansted ready for our Ryan air flight to Poland tomorrow lunchtime. Friends and family keep making me panic, saying I need to constantly check to see if the flight is cancelled - Ryan Airs flight seem to be unchanged and today’s early flights to Kraków have gone as normal. I read yesterday that some BA passengers flying today were given the option to change them to tomorrow, so I’m taking that as a good sign. Anyone else travelling this weekend and anxious about their flights? |

A friend is currently delayed at Manchester. Someone accidentally deployed the emergency slide and they are waiting for a new one. Their worry is that during the five hour delay the weather closes in and causes further delay.

Am flying easyJet Monday from Edinburgh. The strong winds seem to stay in place until Monday afternoon up there so watching with interest shall we say ?
I wouldn’t be too concerned other than easyJet seem to be the only airline doing mass cancellations

We flew back into Exeter a few hours ago! Like you I was worried (and couldn’t check flight status as we were over the Atlantic for hours) but flight went on time. Less said about the landing in the wind in that tiny plane, the better!

DS is meant to be flying on a school ski trip today with Ryanair from Bristol to Milan (BGY). Ryanair app says they’re in for a >4hr arrival delay, but Bristol airport website says they’re boarding now? ! Meanwhile back at the ranch the wind gusts are awesome and not in a good way. Good luck everyone and stay safe.

We flew early this morning Luton to Pisa. However we were due to be going to Sardinia at 2, but EasyJet said flights were likely to be cancelled so we made the decision to change flights and go earlier. Luckily we did as the Sardinia flight was cancelled late last night. Apparently airport was chaotic, we’d booked a lounge so didn’t have any problems! Glorious weather here in Italy!

Flying to Prague. Just keeping an eye on things at the moment. I have the BA app and keep checking it but I’m hoping we get away as planned. Good luck to everyone else flying over the next couple of days!

Well DS etc al are all still sitting at BRS since Ryanair decided to use their plane for the Turin passengers? ! Currently claiming they will still go tonight just the 5 hours late. He’s now pretty unhappy and tired and they’ll miss their first morning skiing - even if they do fly tonight. Personally I don’t think they’ll be going today now, but don’t want to burst his bubble.
