Newark transfer advice
Good morning,
We have had a flight change and are now transferring in Newark. Can anyone who has had experiences of transferring here give a description of what to do, we will have to change terminals from B to C. I understand there is an airtrain that will transfer us. Or if there has been a discussion already in the past about this can you point me in the right direciton.

I have transferred via Newark, I recall once clearing Immigration/Customs we dropped off cases again for onward move and walked to the next gate for MCO. So I believe it wasn't too far from our arrival point. (It was some years ago - so hopefully a more recent experience may help you)

We did this last month. Clear immigration, collect bags, walk maybe 100m to the drop off point. Walk around the corner to the escalators, board the air train and less than 5 minutes later walk to the security check point for your onward connection. I was outside the United lounge 40 minutes after landing.

Thank you
This sounds easy. I was wondering about the drop off being in a different terminal but sounds easy enough. We currently have 2hrs 10mins so hopefully plenty of time to get something to eat and drink. Where was the customs, was that just before your dropped your cases off again?

Yes, that's right it's literally through one set of double doors then follow the signs and there will be someone from bag handling to scan your luggage tags and another member of staff hauls 'em onto the conveyor belt. |
