I'm in the same position - sent my paperwork back to Barclaycard on Tuesday. Impossible to get hold of the disputes team on the phone. Really annoying to be honest - £1800 is a LOT of money!

I have just messaged lloyds as filed a claim for a cc payment-flights-a week ago and heard nothing. Yet I have read some lloyds customers have had their refund.

The reply was.. no news or updates..you will hear in 45 days..

I would really like my £2791 back ..

Our neighbours have had their refund but I think it might have been a debit card

Is it really shocking service though?

The company folded a week ago... they still have other business to manage other than your refund.

45 days thought after 30 days it could be escalated to financial ombudsman

I think it’s shocking the fact Barclaycard sent me a text saying I’ve purchased from Thomas cook in the last 12 month and they know Thomas cook cease to exist. Barclay card are fully aware of which customers are affected and they have sent them a text. It would take longer to send the text than it would to press a button to refund.

That's for people claiming from CAA isn't it?

Maybe not, but some CC companies are saying they are awaiting CAA advice, to prolong the agony i would assume they will start using this as their benchmark!
