Mobile What to do in London for 3hrs late Sunday

So on way to DLP with overnight stop in London. Will arrive approx 1.30pm on a Sunday. By time we've checked in and got anywhere its likely to be 2.30pm. Everywhere seems to close around 5.30 on a Sunday so where is best to go for roughly 3hrs? We were hoping for British Museum but not sure theres enough time. Anywhere open late?

Lots of the theatre shows will have a Sunday afternoon matinee performance starting at around 2:30pm.

Otherwise it's the cinema, or Kidzania is open until 7pm if you have children, see kidzania, the London Eye.

Or see the view from The Shard theviewfromtheshard which is open until 8pm and have dinner in one of the restaurants there afterwards.

Most shops and museums will be open until 6pm. So later than 6pm you could go to a nice restaurant for dinner and there's not many other options on a Sunday evening.

The Sky Garden is free and has excellent views. Tickets are available two weeks in advance.
Also could do the catamaran down the Thames to Greenwich and either do the return or come back on the DLR and cross to Covent Garden.

I'm liking the Thames cruise idea. Checked the timetables and they do run late regardless of day. Is westminster pier the closest to kings cross?

If you fancy this take a look at going on the clipper instead. It's much cheaper than and tourist cruise. You can get off at the O2 and then go on the skyline across the river. We then got the DLR back up. We did it and the kids loved every part of it.

We'll be staying near kings cross so where is the nearest pickup point for the tour boats or clipper?
