Is it BA? They only use Gatwick 3 days a week. We changed our return flight.

Park the car at Heathrow and get either a taxi or National Express Coach back to Gatwick. If you are planning on parking on the same day as the departure flight then leave plenty of time incase there are any issues with the M25.

Also, if you live closer to Gatwick and have plenty of time you could always drop your fellow passengers and luggage off first then drive to Heathrow and return by yourself via the above route.

I did once for a solo trip to the US when it was much cheaper. I parked at Gatwick but then took the coach to Heathrow and flew from there. Then when I came home I was very glad to be parked in Gatwick and in the excitement of travel day getting the coach from Gatwick-Heathrow was no issue. I'd never do the reverse because I don't sleep on planes and want to be on the road home asap.

Yes BA. It’s £400 cheaper than using the same airport

Make sure your parking is refundable as there is still a possibility of your return moving to Heathrow.

Where would you be travelling to from the airports - it would make it easier to advise.

Gatwick has a station attached to the South Terminal with a regular service into Central London so you could go Gatwick to Victoria, Victoria to Euston (on the tube), then catch the West Coast main line from there.

Heathrow has both tube and overground stations serving all terminals. The quickest is probably Heathrow to Paddington, Paddington to Euston (on the tube), then again the West coast main line from there.
