Question Passport expiry

Hi all, I noticed today that my husbands passport is due to run out in Feb 22 and we are due to fly in November this year - I can't remember how much time you need to have left on your passport to be able to fly can anyone confirm if we will be ok with this or should I apply for a new one?

Your passport only has to be valid for your stay.

Theres a few threads knocking about as rumours are about that things "may" change. For direct flights the answer is that it just needs to be valid. If you transition via another country they may require 6 months.

Transfers within the US are fine. It's if you transfer via an EU airport like Dublin, Amsterdam etc.
