Leaving stuff behind at hotels when you check out (pushchairs, food items etc)
Is there anywhere for people to post items that they are leaving behind when they check out of their hotels ?
For example "checking out of XXXXX Hotel today and leaving foldup pushchair & half box of pepsi in 2nd floor laundry room". ? Apologies if posted in wrong category. |

A lot of Orlandohotels have "fan" pages and people post on them with stuff. Laundry rooms seem to be a favourite place to leave the goods.

We stayed at POR and left things in the laundry. There was always something there every time we went to do washing

It seems the done thing as Disney hotels is to leave any unwanted items in the laundry with a 'free' sign.

VIP Dibber
|
We gave away some stuff to a Dibber on our last visit. We had bought the refillable cups at Universal - the Minion ones. They were really big and awkward to carry, and in the end we stopped using them. We knew we would have difficulty fitting them in our cases and would probably never use them at home, so we asked on the Dibb if anyone wanted them. There was a Dibber out there who was going to Universal the following week and had two young girls, so she said she would have them. We met up at Marketplace to hand them over.

Stayed at All Stars Sports in September and someone left a Disney buggy with a note on saying free at the bottom of the stairs.

accidentally left a buggy in Hollywood Studios last year on our last day. Our son was on the cusp of not needing it so we would usually park it up for hours at a time. Since we were only diving in for a few hours on our last day I thought we had left it in the car and we were running tight for the airport so we charged out the park and only realised we didn't have it the airport.
We usually leave laundry and cleaning stuff behind hoping someone else gets the use of it. Also passed on a popcorn bucket as well at Disney. |
