staying at Gatwick night before...
This may be a silly question, but what do you do with your overnight bags when you stay at Gatwick night before? We are doing meet and greet parking so won't have the car next morning to put our bags in? I guess toiletries I will just save the last bits in bottles etc and leave there, but what about pj's etc?

Also wondering this! Might just do online check in and not drop the suitcases off at twilight check in? Will be at the airport anyway as stopping over at the Premier Inn North Terminal, so even if its a bit busier in the morning dropping off suitcases its not really going to matter?!

Hi I would save the ends of toiletries for use the night before, then you can just throw away. I plan to put pj's in hand luggage. With regards to clothes I haven't decided one option is to travel to airport in the same clothes I will fly in or the other option which I will probably do is wear old clothes to airport that I can just throw away on the day of my flight. Hope that helps.

You could pay for one night parking at the hotel and do the meet and greet in the morning. Is going commando an option for one night? Lol

We dont use over night bag's, all our thing's we put at the top in the suitcases and put them back the next morning. We hate having too many bag's so we try to get away with just a suitcase each and a small one we take as hand lugage.

Just going to pop pjs in hand luggage. Will change into flight clothes to drop our bags at twilight check in and have tea then go back to the hotel and put our pjs on.

Not worried about doing Twilight check-in for a few years now since I do online checkin.
That means we keep our cases with us while staying overnight, then bag drop in the morning. We also do Meet & Greet parking from Hilton Hotel - it's the perfect way to start a holiday stress-free! When we used to do Twilight check-in, we used to take one cabin sized suitcase and keep all our overnight/fresh travel clothes in that. I agree with using end of toiletries - although shampoos, conditioners, soaps etc should be in hotel room.

We aren't bothering with twilight check in - I couldn't sleep the night before if I couldn't do one last check of the cases before we drop them off at the check in desk!
It's not a big hassle to drop bags off the next morning especially with online check in, we get there uber early when staying at the airport the night before anyway, drop bags off at 7, an hour of duty free shopping then 3 hours of v-room before the flight - bliss! |

The overnight bag complete with dirty laundry goes in the boot of the car at the hotel and stays there until we get back.
