Mobile Kinder Surprise for Mousekeeping tip gifts?

I've been reading that Mousekeeping like little chocolate gifts with their tips, the kind of choc they can't buy out there (or it's marked up i.e. Cadbury bars).

Although Kinder Surprise eggs are banned from sale in the US, will we be allowed to bring some through with us to gift?

No I’m afraid not by the terms of the 1938 act which bans all confectionary with a concealed toy

I don't get the fact that you pay for housekeeping during your stay, but then you're expected to tip for the service and now give them chocolate too ?

You’re not ‘expected’ to give them chocolate, it’s just that some folks like to leave them a little treat.

I don't think it's expected, but some people like to. We took chocolate for them on our first trip as thought it would be nice, but haven't bothered again since then. We'll be opting out this time anyway in favour of the gift card

When the Olympics were on in london we took an olympic/ london themed gift for every day.

Beefeater, grenadier guard, red phone box, tumbler, pen, pencil, key ring etc etc

Nothing over £2

We too will be opting out for the most part, but we'll get one day of Mousekeeping mid-holiday and leave a bigger tip with a box of goodies. At least I now know not to risk taking Kinder Surprises though!

Bans kinder eggs because of a concealed toy, yet it’s fine for adults to carry a concealed weapon oh the irony 🤔

If I was scrubbing toilets for a living I would prefer cash over chocolate and plastic tat.

It's a choking hazard, an accidental injury. In the main gunshots are a deliberate action.
