Where to stay on I drive?

Have just booked a cheeky week for the first time without kids so am looking to stay where we can walk to restaurants instead of one of us (usually me) not drinking and having to drive. Have never stopped on I drive, always had a villa, therefore have no idea what's good and what to avoid. Just the two of us but like to have a bit of space, suggestions welcome please

we did the same, stayed at the quality inn international. very basic but clean and central for everything. restaurants on the doorstep or only a short walk.
I ride trolley stop outside which will take you to the outlet malls and seaworld
we even walked up to universal which is about 3/4 hour walk

Another vote for Quality Inn International, stayed there three weeks ago, it was perfect, great rooms, great location, clean, just 100 per cent recommendable!

I've not stayed there but good friends of our stayed at Rosen Inn Pointe Orlando in 2012 and loved it, their first time. They said they walked to loads of restaurants and had a drink!
Has fridges I think too.
