Although it's saying 'Sold out" (both Amazon and Waterstones), we suspect it's because the original stock has yet to reach the distributor. The whole distribution chain seems to be out of sync at the moment and no-one can give us a firm date of when it will be in stock. Just another one for 2020, I guess

Just checked amazon, now saying 1-2 months delivery? Seems odd, maybe initial stock has gone.

Delighted to see your copy has arrived - you've now got something that we haven't, yet! And, yes, it has changed a LOT since that very first (180-page) edition in 1995!

Really sorry that the distribution seems to be so haphazard this year. We can't seem to get a concrete answer about where stocks are right now. Hopefully, this is just a temporary glitch, as Amazon is usually one of our best outlets

PS: We can't get the book out here in Florida yet, either!

I’ve ordered through waters the new but they said i May not get it for a few weeks, I have the first edition at home it’s amazing comparing them to the say 2020 version! Times have changed though I do love the first edition it brings back memories of long gone attractions

Yes, that 1st edition seems very homespun compared to the glossy look we have today, but it also highlights quite a few things (especially the dinner shows!) that have fallen by the wayside over the years. One thing the book doesn't really show is how big metro Orlando has become in the past 25 years. In 1995, the population was barely 1 million, but now it is very nearly 2 million, and it definitely feels twice the size!
