update Displaying Christmas cards!

I hate the clutter of Christmas cards and usually put out a few family ones and pile the rest up. How do you display yours in a nice way, thought of maybe getting some clips and lights on a wire! Seems a shame that’s someone bothers to send us a card and it’s not on show. How do you display yours?

We've always hung a piece of cotton from corner to corner along one wall and then placed the cards on that. If filled up, we add another cotton thread below it

We have 2 Christmas tree shaped card holders. One for family cards and one for others. They hang off our wall lights and look pretty even before they have cards on.

I've tried string and pegs (Primark had some Disney ones a while ago) but as I only Blu Tac them to the wall they fell down pretty much every day.

That's what we do. Family cards are displayed separately. When my 3 children were at school we used to get loads, not so many now.

Before I had the cat we would blue tack them to the doors, but the cat eats everything, including blue tack and I was worried about him doing it while we were out.
So for the last few years I’ve got the main family on the fireplace and that’s it. Although to be honest we don’t really get many cards from outside the family anyway.

I have ordered a light string with pegs for the back room and some command strips, I will peg a card each time we get one. If it all collapse into a heap I’ll keep up the lights and get rid of the pegs and cards. I had a next card holder and the cards just fell out everytime I put them in!
