Leave on or turn off?

Hi Dibbers ,quick question...

I have just had a new electric shower fitted and it has a pull cord to turn electric on... in the past (with old shower) i always left this on but the man that fitted my new one today showed me how to use it and switched off pull cord after use.Can i ask those of you that have this pull cord ,do you leave on or turn off each time?

I always turn it off after the shower.

My husband says they are called isolation cords for a reason. Only needs to be used when you wish to isolate the power.
Ours only gets turned off by the pull cord when we are going on holiday.

I've never turned my off. Lived here 10 years. Never even considered it 🤔

I turn mine off after a shower, always have, must save a small amount of electricity, like a tv on standby as the lights on the shower are on if I don’t turn it off.
