Newbie questions for Xmas visit - thanks in advance!
If we have fast pass reservations for that day will we be let in if the park is full? Also if it’s full and they are not letting more people in, what happens if we get into the park early and go out (for lunch say) does that mean we won’t get back in for the afternoon if it’s full by then
We’ve bought our tickets from American Attractions. Set up our My Disney Experience and done our FP bookings. The kids would like a magic band instead of the cards we have been sent - will the hotel provide those on arrival or would we have to pay for them? Last question (sorry) - do we qualify for EMH if we are staying at the Hilton Buena Vista Palace? |

Hope you have a great holiday over Christmas, it is usually very busy and WDW can implement a 4 stage closure as described here touringplans/walt-disney...acity-closures
We were at AK last Christmas Day and didn’t get there until late morning and got in without problem but MK is more popular on Christmas Day. If you stay at a Disney hotel you will get a MB, otherwise I’m afraid you will have to buy one. I saw on another thread that you have an ADR for the Wave on Christmas Day, it might be worth looking for a reservation in the MK by using Touring Plans reservation finder, which is free. You may get lucky, and then it will save you having to come out of the park. |

Just to answer your last question, your hotel is an official WDW hotel so you are entitled to EMH

You will be able to utilise EMH as your hotel is a partner hotel. However if you leave the park you will be subject to the same process of entry as if you had just arrived for the first time. I am not sure if a partner hotel would give the same priority as an actual onsite guest however. I think I would be inclined to stay out once in MK.

Thank you. It was that partner hotel part I wasn’t sure of. As it’s just a partner hotel you think we won’t be included for the priority entrance when closure stages get implemented? That is key isn’t it? Glad you said as I hadn’t realised.
What happens if you have FP bookings and closure stages kick in? Assume you just lose your FP slots? |
