Rise of the Resistance and DAS Pass

Following as we’re off in July & my son uses DAS & is a huge Star Wars fan. How do you get boarding groups? Is it at 60 days like FP? Sorry I’m a bit out of the loop🙃

At the moment, you have to be in the park very early with all members of your party wishing to ride. In my very recent experience, all boarding passes for the day had been allocated well before 9am. There are no options currently for booking in advance.

Thank you we’ll definitely get there early then unless it changes between now & July! What way does smugglers run work then? Same way?

With Smugglers Run you turn up at the ride and the CM will give you a return time based on the wait time at that moment, so in that respects it will be the same as all the other rides at WDW that accept the DAS card.

Smugglers Run doesn’t have boarding groups or fast passes. I saw waiting times of 40 minutes recently which is shorter than many older rides. I wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes a fast-pass ride before your visit though.
