Discovery Cove Trainer for a Day upgrade when booked through FloridaTix

I just put a deposit down for DC for September. I have just noticed though on the DC website, you can upgrade to trainer for the day for $199pp but it won’t let me add it to my basket because I am not adding my day ticket on there.

Has anyone bought their tickets from a 3rd party and had success adding trainee for a day?

I’m frustrated I didn’t check the DC website before securing my tickets (DC actually is cheaper, but I’d rather pay later) because we are doing this for my husbands birthday and I would surprise him with it!

Hi there. I bought our tickets through Attractions Ticket Direct and had the same issue.

You need to email Discovery Cove, and someone from the relevant dept will ask you for your phone number and then call you to sort the booking. You can't just phone DC directly, as you won't get through to the right bit, but I've managed to upgrade our 3rd party tickets to trainer for a day within the last couple of weeks by doing what I have just described.
