August holiday just been cancelled by ebookers

Strange it’s cancelled so soon as surely no one knows at the moment of August flights will be going or if floridays will be open. If you didn’t want to go anyway then it’s a good result having a full refund.

I know its disappointing but I would rather them cancel and give full refund than not know what was happening. We are due to travel 4th Aug and booked DIY, cant do anything until closer to time as flights not refundable if we cancel now. Wish ours was cancelled and refunded now.

I agree it’s the not knowing that’s a pain. I don’t believe we will go in August but nothing cancelled yet. The odd thought pops up what if it goes ahead and we don’t know until August I’d have nothing planned and no passport for the youngest!

I’m sure I had an email from Floridays a few weeks back explaining the precautions they were taking and suggesting they were open! I’ll see if I can dig it out...

Ebookers taking a realistic approach it seems, at least you don’t have a huge battle on your hands for a refund like many do with Virgin Holidays and many other providers.
