This may be my first abstention on glass volumes.

Just reading both WFTV Ch9 and Fox 35 news it seems that it's suddenly dawned on the POTUS and the State Governor that there may be a small issue of a virus causing a few issues over there.

Mick

PS Still 3 months to go for us though and a bit more for you Linda

It’s really cheered me up reading that folks still intend going in November and that you have just booked for then, as we are meant to be on the west coast in December and I keep thinking there’s no way it’s going to happen.
So I have everything crossed that you all get then I will be able to as well.

How did you do your countdown? I need to change mine now and I can’t remember how. Can I do it on my phone?

Never that bad on the way out but coming home the wait at Gatwick can be hours and hours
It all feels worse coming back anyway. I'll never forget the time my son in law went wrong way round the M25!
And Dave once came off the M25 and we started heading for Dover.

Sue

Reminds me of our return to LGW in early Dec 2017. Our normal route home is north to pick up the M25 then clockwise round to the M40 to Banbury then home.

It was raining heavily as we crossed the road from Arrivals to the multi-storey where we'd parked. Before we reached the M25 it had turned to heavy snow and by the time we got a few miles from the M40 exit the matrix signs were saying "Don't even think about it". So we then have the alternative of going round a bit more and taking the M1 but the matrix signs there were even more sinister.

Our youngest daughter lives in Brentwood so we phoned and asked if she fancied overnight guests. Took us 7 hours from LGW to Essex. Lorries had jack-knifed across three lanes and rear wheel drive cars were abandoned everywhere.

Obviously it was worse as we travelled clockwise around 75% of the M25 and had we known we would naturally gone round the Kent bit.

Mick
