I did the Virtual London marathon
Last year I ran Manchester marathon and then 6 months later I ran a 40 mile ultra marathon
Well today I took part in the London virtual marathon. I ran 26.2 miles round where I live in Cheshire. By far the hardest run I've ever done. The cramp I had from mile 14 was horrendous In my ankles, calves and thighs. But I did it. 4 hours 54 minutes, no personal best for me but happy to get under 5, considering I lost my dad only 4 weeks ago and could barely walk. This was mile 20 and the smile was definitely a lie lol 🥰

Well done - awesome work.
Having done 2 London marathons I can only image how difficult is was without any crowds to cheer you on! Enjoy a nice glass of something tonight xx |
