I tripped up and fractured my elbow!
Oh dear
I was walking the dog and tripped up the curb and ended up in a heap outside the coop and butchers I was just glad I was able to catch the dog and that I hadn’t broken my glasses! Anyway a few hours later I thought my arm and elbow were hurting a bit so went off to minor injuries, the nurse was 99% sure it was a sprain but had to have X-ray to check and yes there was a minor fracture I only need a sling but not allowed to drive for weeks or walk dog on my own, it’s also my arm that I write with I suppose I should be glad it wasn’t any worse Edie |

Similar happened to me six weeks ago. I was at work and carried on for a couple of hours until my colleagues managed to convinced me to go to hospital. I was relieved that my elbow was fractured as it hurt so much and I thought other people would think I was being a drama queen otherwise. 😃
My elbow is healed now but still slightly stiff. Hope the pain stops for you soon and you manage to get some sleep tonight. |

Oh no! I think I'd be more embarrassed at the thought people had seen me fall ☺️
Wishing you a speedy recovery! Xx |

I broke my elbow a few years ago you don’t realise how much you rely on it til it’s out of action! Mine was slightly worst I was in a sling for around 6 weeks. It will test your patience but you’ll be fine in the long run with I found a new appreciation for that part of the body.

Hope it heals ok, I fell on my left elbow probably about nine yrs ago now, I had it in a sling for six weeks , then physio, unfortunately my arm is still slightly curved ! I think I shouldn't have kept it in a sling as long as I did ! Be careful.
